About this unique Automotive Skills Development Trust:
The Trust has been formed and registered, IT002596/2016(T) with the specific objective of carrying the Public Benefit Activity in the sectors within which JDK Autofitters (PTY) LTD, The Donor of the Trust, operates for the benefit of Black People in South Africa and/or organisations or projects that support Black people in South Africa and to do all things ancillary and incidental to fulfilling the Trusts objectives.
The JDK Benefit Trust, established in 2016, will specifically address the socio-economic needs of its stakeholders via an educational vehicle by ensuring that its recipient candidates selected from its employees, client pool and communities will benefit. We believe that by paying it forward we too hold a shared responsibility by impacting this through education. Giving back has been and still is an integral part of our moral duty and collective responsibility.
This Automotive Skills Development Trust wants beneficiaries to become self-reliant!
JDK Benefit Trust’s Mission is geared towards the empowerment of black women, and disabled persons from the previously marginalized communities. The Benefit Trust will support initiatives that have the potential to assist the beneficiary to become self-reliant. Beneficiaries are defined as a Black Person in South Africa. Such a Black Person shall at all times form part of the Defined Class of Natural Persons. Defined Class of Natural Persons, definition: “Black People studying in the fields of accounting, economics, human resources, logistics and health and safety or any other sector that can benefit the Donor’s operations, at any recognised tertiary education facility in South Africa”.
Amongst other initiatives that JDK Benefit Trust believes in is that the Beneficiaries must have the following Values:
- To conduct themselves in a manner which demonstrates honesty, integrity, commitment and credibility;
- To treat others with the respect they would like to be treated with;
- To re-invest time and acquired skills to others with the goal to pay-it-forward in a way that will uplift and empower; and
- To constantly strive to do their best.
Ultimately the objective is to ensure that the commitment in empowering others, will display tangible results. The Trustees of this automotive skills development trust look forward to positively interacting with all eligible young South Africans who are South African Citizens, are Previously Disadvantaged Individuals, are self-motivated and are between the age 17 to 21.
What is the JDK Benefit Trust?
The JDK Benefit Trust, established in 2016, was created to carry out public benefit activities in line with its donor’s operations to support Black people in South Africa. Our mission is to address the socio-economic needs of our shareholders through education. We believe in paying it forward and sharing the responsibility of making a positive impact on individuals’ lives through education.

The JDK Benefit Trust is calling all passionate and driven young South Africans to apply for our fully-funded study programs! We are dedicated to empowering previously disadvantaged individuals by providing educational opportunities at any recognized South African higher learning institution, including universities, technikons, and colleges.
